Elite Landscapes secures three-year British Land maintenance contract

Elite Landscapes is pleased to announce its appointment to a three-year landscape maintenance contract with British Land, one of the UK's leading property development and investment companies. Already delivering services across five landmark estates in central London, our teams are helping to maintain some of the capital's most prominent public realm spaces.

The portfolio includes Paddington Central, Regent's Place, Broadgate adjacent to Liverpool Street station, Canada Water Wetlands and Norton Folgate. Collectively, these sites encompass extensive lawns, formal gardens, biodiverse planting, mature trees, roof terraces, seasonal displays and one of London's most significant urban wetlands. The landscapes are enjoyed by tens of thousands of occupiers, residents and visitors each week, requiring a proactive maintenance approach that balances horticultural excellence, sustainability and public safety.

A dedicated team of 12 gardeners has been appointed to deliver the contract. Five transferred to Elite Landscapes under TUPE, ensuring continuity of service and retaining valuable site knowledge, while a further seven have been recruited specifically to support the contract.

The appointment marks continued growth for Elite Landscapes' maintenance division, both in staff and fleet. Dedicated gardening teams work on site five days a week, supported by mobile teams operating across London to provide responsive maintenance across the wider portfolio.
