Elephant Park is one of London's most significant regeneration projects, and Plot H11B sits at its heart. Appointed by Bovis Construction as the specialist landscaping contractor for the Private Gardens, Elite Landscapes delivered the full hard and soft landscaping package for a development comprising a 25-storey tower, an 11-storey mansion block, 259 residential apartments and ground-floor retail — bringing the outdoor spaces that residents will live around every day to life.

The Private Gardens are designed to feel like a genuine green retreat in the middle of the city. Soft landscaping centres on 46 specimen trees including Acer palmatum, Acer japonicum, Parrotia persica and Cornus alternifolia, alongside specimen multistem shrubs and over 2,500 perennials, bulbs and ferns phased for spring, early-summer and autumn interest. Woodland Amenity Mulch paths and bark mulch ground cover complete the planting picture, with a fully commissioned Rain Bird TM2 automatic drip-irrigation system ensuring long-term establishment across all trees and beds.

Hard works provide the structure and detail that bring the space together. SureSet resin-bound paving, CED grey paddlestone stepping stones, wet-pour safety surfacing, Kinley aluminium edging, ACO slot drainage, raised steel fencing and gates, and bases for furniture and lighting all contribute to a finish that meets the quality benchmark set by the wider Lendlease masterplan.

Biodiversity sits at the core of the design. Increased canopy cover, a planting palette chosen for seasonal variety, and a water-efficient irrigation system using pressure-compensating emitters and Netafim Techline drip to all beds make the Private Gardens a meaningful ecological contribution to one of central London's most important regeneration sites.
