Building Borough Yards

A predominantly Hard Landscape package, Yorkstone paving ran through the internal areas of the development while Granite stone was used throughout the external areas. A mixture of both made up the additional 278 works. We also had the opportunity to install premium yorkstone paving within the historic arches of Borough Yard. This high-end commercial project is based in one of the most exciting areas in London, minutes from the Shard and inside the arches of the London Bridge train line.

This job came with its challenges due to it’s tight spaces, small working areas, live transport routes and large numbers of pedestrians. We also faced tight deadlines, not helped by global supply issues directly affecting natural stone. However, by closely working with our client and incorporating accelerated and weekend/late working, we delivered this unique commercial leisure and retail space both on time and within budget to a high and impressive standard.
