Imperial Wharf, Fulham – Complete construction of the North Parkland and hard landscaping works to the main Imperial Wharf Boulevard
Project description
Situated between the fashionable neighbourhoods of Chelsea and Fulham, on the North bank of the Thames, Imperial Wharf www.imperialwharf.com is one of London’s most important new residential locations. With over 1600 apartments and town houses, this huge development built on a former British Gas site incorporates over 10 acres of landscaped parkland.
Elite Landscapes has been working on this site since 2004. During this time we have undertaken the complete construction of the North Parkland. This included the initial earthworks, drainage and all of the hard and soft landscaping required to complete the Park.
The design, by Broadway Malyan, ensures that whilst this is a space that is highly valued by the residents of Imperial Wharf, it also incorporates many ecologically sound elements that encourage wildlife.
In contrast to the North Parkland, the main Imperial Wharf Boulevard consists mainly of high quality formal hard landscaping. Elite Landscapes was responsible for the construction of a number of large raised planters and substantial areas of the paving in this impressive area of the site.

"This was a large project that included almost every element of landscape construction. The flexible approach with which Elite Landscapes managed the project has ensured that the client and residents of Imperial Wharf are delighted with the end result."
